ACERCA DE ISLANDIA<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Esta isla de 103.000 km2 y 388.000 habitantes, situada en el Oc\u00e9ano Atl\u00e1ntico Norte, es una tierra de contrastes impresionantes.

Sus paisajes salvajes incluyen volcanes activos, glaciares, fiordos y desiertos de lava negra que no se ven en ning\u00fan lado. m\u00e1s.

Conocida por su aurora boreal y sus aguas termales naturales, Islandia es un destino de ensue\u00f1o para todos, pero visitado por pocos. Est\u00e1 lejos, es caro y es salvaje. Pero el juego bien merece la pena, porque vemos paisajes de otro planeta.

El viaje a Islandia es muy diferente si das la vuelta a la isla por el anillo exterior que si vas por las tierras m\u00e1s lejanas del coraz\u00f3n del pa\u00eds. \u00a1Hicimos ambas cosas!<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dif\u00edcil elegir entre glaciares, icebergs, g\u00e9iseres, cascadas, fiordos, desiertos de lava y playas de ceniza volc\u00e1nica.

Pero lo m\u00e1s impresionante que vivimos fue sin duda el volc\u00e1n Fagradalsfjal en plena erupci\u00f3n, que pudimos ver desde (quiz\u00e1s) demasiado cerca.

El acceso era libre y muy poco vigilada. Pudimos caminar sobre lava que a\u00fan estaba caliente, pero est\u00e1bamos tan cerca del volc\u00e1n que los vapores t\u00f3xicos y el calor da\u00f1aban nuestros ojos. Al d\u00eda siguiente, a causa de estos vapores, tuvimos hipersensibles a la luz casi todo el d\u00eda, pero vali\u00f3 la pena!

Fue m\u00e1gico y m\u00e1s impresionante que cualquier otra cosa que pudi\u00e9ramos haber visto antes.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u00a1Los mosquitos! Nos encanta hacer picnic y acampar al aire libre, pero en verano, por las tardes, las regiones m\u00e1s rurales de pa\u00edses del norte como Islandia, Escocia o Noruega, lamentablemente, est\u00e1n infestadas de mosquitos. Mosquitos diminutos que se pegan a la piel y son tan numerosos, que es imposible escapar.

Deb\u00edamos usar capuchas de malla fina, para estar seguros en las zonas donde hay mosquitos. Estos no pican sino que por su contacto, la piel genera picaz\u00f3n dif\u00edcil de soportar.

Este fue sin duda el \u00fanico aspecto molesto de este pa\u00eds, pero con el buen repelente de mosquitos, que se vende en tiendas locales y las capuchas de malla, logramos escapar de ellos.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tHemos visitado Islandia dos veces. La primera vez, recorrimos la isla desde fuera, que es la ruta mas conoce por la mayor\u00eda de la gente.\nLa segunda vez exploramos el interior de la isla y fue mucho m\u00e1s interesante.

Pero tuvimos dificultades para encontrar gasolina, porque el interior es salvaje y deshabitado, y lamentablemente la moto s\u00f3lo ten\u00eda 300 km de autonom\u00eda incluso con un dep\u00f3sito adicional de 5 litros.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
